A story about me
ok. it’s true.
Is that she has a really beautiful bright pink bra.
Didn’t really meet her but I sat next to her in a movie theatre once – to see “Eraserhead.”
I organized contact with celebrities for a non-profit group in Los Angeles (anti-nuke group) and Nimoy was a supporter. Very smart man. Not a lot of patience with people not doing things as he expected. Really committed and impressive.
Coordinated guest filmmakers for the Provincetown Film Fest and he was a guest. A really sweet, quiet and respectful guy.
On the set of “Men at Work” directed by Emilio Estevez. He had his hair cut about an inch long and was with Mimi Rogers’ two brothers. Even though I am only 5’3” he seemed really short and non-descript.
Many changes. Moved from Boston to Seattle. Left behind many dear and beloved friends, my beautiful condo in the maple trees, all the smart people on the east coast, proximity to NYC, and that awful weather than I will not miss no matter what month of the year it is or how much rain has fallen.
Changed jobs. Love what I am doing now, people I am doing it with, and the company culture.
Bought a fantastic single family house on a huge corner lot. Will be raising koi since I inherited a pond. Already have the bird feeders out. What a joy to watch them come for food. Amazing garden that I will discover as it unfolds this spring (2007).
Stressful changes – move and job – it took a lot to get set up in Seattle, get all of the accounts and infrastructure in place. Meet new people. I knew two people in Seattle and one was my boyfriend from high school. I miss the support and the security of having my life all set up but I am soldiering through and happy with each new discovery and change.
Fantastic trip to Italy with my niece in May/June.
Big birthday at the end of summer.
